DONATIONS made to a technology research centre in St Asaph will help spread festive cheer to those less fortunate.

The Reverse Hamper appeal at Wrexham Glyndwr University’s OpTIC Technology Centre has received enough donations to fill three hampers with items donated to Kings Storehouse Foodbank, Rhyl.

Business and Innovation Centre manager, Debbie Davies said: “It’s wonderful that people have given generously to such a worthy cause, at a time where many people are in need of a helping hand."

Items were donated by staff members from Glyndŵr Innovations, Wrexham Glyndŵr University and client companies. Debbie handed over hampers filled with Christmas treats to Kings Storehouse Foodbank.

She added: “They were really appreciative and it was quite humbling to see their hard work."
