A motorist reversed into a car, collided with road signs and went around a Queensferry roundabout the wrong way before exiting on wrong side of the road - all with children in the car the time.
Police said the incident took place at 9.25am on Gladstone Way on December 9, and are now appealing for witnesses.
The car is described as a grey Seat Leon and was being driven by a man at the time.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident can call police on 101 quoting reference number X1771478.
