VISITORS can meet Father Christmas and his reindeer ahead of their busiest night of the year.

A Traditional Christmas in Prestatyn will be held on Saturday, November 30 from 10am until 4pm.

Santa will be in his grotto. Every child will receive a present, sticker and sweets. There will also be a chance to meet two real reindeer, sit in Santa's sleigh and have a photo.

There will be regular snow falls in the Vicarage Gardens.

A spokesperson from Prestatyn Town Council said: "Get some unique Christmas presents from the food and craft stalls and shops on the Christmas Market Trail.

"Enjoy festive treats throughout the High Street including wood fired pizzas, donuts, crepes, soups, mince pies and more.

"Take part in the Christmas art and craft including make your own Reindeer food; Christmas gift tags and tree decorations."

There will also be live music. Guests can enjoy a hot mulled wine, roasted chestnuts and have their photo taken in the Living Nativity scene.

Prestatyn Christmas light switch-on is on November 27.

Children from primary schools will sing Christmas songs around the tree. There will be a countdown to the lights switch-on at 3.45pm.
