RHYL swimmers have caused a splash amongst other competitors from North Wales at a gala event.
Rhyl Dolphins Swimming Club members have bested personal times and earned "speeding tickets" at the Geoff Drew Meet in Holywell
Out of the 22 races swam, Libby Galeandro, Keira Pennington, Keisa Dodgson, Victoria Colquitt and Reggie Park achieved a total of 16 personal best times and three new times were set for distances not swam before.
At the level 3 swimming gala on Sunday, October 27, the swimmers also earned seven speeding tickets awards -where they have been entered into the AA or B category and swim faster than the cut off time to progress to the next level -as well as two gold and one silver medal in the AA category and three gold and a silver medal in the B category.
In addition, Reggie Park won top nine year old boy and Keira Pennington won top 12 year old girl on the day.
Anyone interested in joining the club is welcome to come along to the Rhyl Leisure Centre for a free trial on a Friday evening at 6.30pm.
