FROM mind boggling mazes in abandoned nuclear reactors to 'scary yoga', there's a host of tricks and treats to enjoy this Halloween in Conwy and Denbighshire.

In the run up to fright night, there are plenty of hair-raising activities to keep children - and adults - occupied throughout the half term.

Starting on Thursday, October 24 at 5pm, Prestatyn special effects masters The Garden Den invite anyone brave enough to tackle their Fallout Reactor No1 Scare Maze at the Lyons Robin Hood Holiday Park.

Something fishy is happening at Rhyl Seaquarium, with witches, ghosts and eerie tales until Sunday, November 3 from 10am at the attraction's Spooky Spectacular. For more information, visit seaquarium.co.uk.

On Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 the Rhyl miniature Railway will bring its new event Halloween Horrors to the beloved attraction, while Children under 11 can head to Bodelwyddan Village Hall at 6.30pm on Thursday 31 for ghoulish party games and other traditional delights.

In Rhuddlan, the Community Centre welcomes the villages children to don their capes and bring their fangs for A Little Magic Monster Mash on Sunday 27 at 4pm.

Around Abergele, on Halloween night at 5pm the St George Village Hall will be offering children a chance to partake in some 'scary yoga' alongside games, bobbing for apples, treats and more.

From Friday 25, Manorafon Farm Park will offer seven days of pumpkin carving fun to keep the littler terrors occupied with their Pumpkin Fest event every day from 10am.

Joining in on the fun, Gwrych Castle will operate The Cursed Trail every day from Saturday 26 until Sunday, November 3 from 10am as well as their Halloween Spooktacular on Thursday 31 from 4pm.

On Saturday, November 2 budding ghost hunters can also have one last bite at the toffee apple, with a chance to solve scope out some spooky ghosts with the castle's third and final ghost hunt at 8pm. For more information visit gwrychcastle.co.uk.
