A SEARCH has been launched to find a motorcyclist riding without a helmet who put school children at risk in Rhyl.

North Wales Police are seeking information on the rider of a small black motorcycle seen travelling on along Vale Road, before turning left onto Cefndy Road and then down towards Rhyl College, at around 4pm on Monday, October 21.

A spokesperson for police said: "The motorcycle had no registration and the rider was wearing a black hoody which partially obscured the riders face and no helmet.

"Officers are appealing for anyone who knows who this rider is to make contact as they have put themselves, other road users and members of the public at risk.

"At the time of the incident local schools had just finished for the day and a large number of children were in the area walking home.

"Officers are also requesting anyone who was in the area at around 4pm with dash cameras to review their footage and if they have video which may assist in identifying the rider to make contact with police."

Anyone with any information is urged to call police on 101 with reference number X153361. Alternatively call into Rhyl Police Station on Wellington Road.
