A BONKERS comedy will bring the halcyon days of the swinging 60s back to life in Rhyl next month.
The award winning Rhyl Liberty Players bring Tom Stoppard's early comedy Enter a Free Man to the Little Theatre stage for three nights from Thursday, November 7 at 7.30pm.
Staged more than 50 years since it was first performed, the play reflects the shaky idealism of the 1960s - and accompanied by a lively contemporary soundtrack - this wonderfully funny and touching comedy will evoke a warm, nostalgic glow in those of us who remember the grooviest of times.
Enter the world of, eccentric inventor George Riley who is dreaming of his first big break, who is in the habit of leaving his long-suffering wife every week, but not before collecting his pocket money from his exasperated daughter.
When his drinking friend Harry offers to fund his latest brainwave, George sees a bright new future ahead - but is his genius all just a figment of his imagination?
To find out, tickets are £9, with concessions available. To book, visit libertyplayers.co.uk or call the box office on 0333 666 3366.
