RHYL'S Sky Tower will turn pink and blue to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week.

Running between October 9 and October 15, the week aims to raise awareness about pregnancy and baby death in the UK.

Denbighshire County Council supports up to six charities a year.

A spokesperson for the local authority said: "Our leisure team has lit up the bridge, shelters, the clock tower and 1891 in different colours to support many causes over recent years and we are delighted to do so and show their support.

"To show our support for the awareness week we will be lighting up the Sky Tower pink and blue.

"We hope this helps raise the profile of such an important issue."

In 2018, more than 180 buildings and landmarks lit up pink and blue across the UK.
