A RHYL family is desperately seeking the whereabouts of their missing cat Peggy.
Peggy was last seen by her owner Candy Patterson at her home on Colin Drive at 7am on Thursday, October 3.
She is one year old, has been microchipped and has a bright yellow, reflective collar.
Ms Patterson said: "Peggy just doesn't wander off at all, she normally comes in to sleep during the day and she never misses a meal.
"When I got home from work, she hadn't touched her breakfast which isn't like her.
"She also has a bright yellow, reflective collar with our number on it, so the fact that no one has called us by now is really worrying. I'm terrified that she's hurt herself and been trapped somewhere."
Peggy is described as being a very large, long cat with a "gigantic tail" and has a prominent black line running along her back to the tip of her tale which is also peppered with grey.
Ms Patterson added: "Peggy is absolutely gorgeous, if anyone spots her in their garden please get in touch - we are so worried about her."
Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Peggy is urged to contact Ms Patterson on 07745858291.
