LIFESAVING equipment has been installed outside a cafe in Pensarn.
The newly installed Public Access Defibrillator at Pantri Bach Cafe was purchased by Nick and Julie Williams, owners of Pantri Bach.
Janet Davies, Abergele team co-ordinator, said: "It will be maintained by the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust. It has been mounted on the wall outside the café premises.
"The cabinet was purchased by the Abergele First Responders using funds donated by the local community."
The defibrillator outside Coop in Pensarn is back in operation. The cabinet was vandalised in August and was said to be 'beyond repair'.
Abergele Community First Responders posted on Facebook: "This couldn't have happened without the generosity of Colwyn Jetski Club for their donation of a new cabinet and PM Druce Electricals for installing it.
"We have been truly humbled and grateful for the amount of support, comments and offers of donation from members of the public. We feel the community really came together and showed how much good there is in the world."
