TWO sisters have finished their roles in the West End and Estonia and are looking ahead to the future.

Former Love Island champion Amber Davies, who attended Ysgol Glan Clwyd in St Asaph, has been playing Judy Bernly in 9 to 5 the Musical.

She finished her last show at the Savoy Theatre on Saturday, August 31 and will now hit the road and tour the UK and Ireland with the show.

Jade Louise Davies, of Denbigh, has been playing Maria in West Side Story with the Estonia opera. Her production also came to an end over the weekend.

Susan Davies, mum to Amber and Jade, said: "They support each other massively and are very close. They both have different styles of acting. Jade is quite serious, she has done productions like Les Misérables, and Amber is more humorous and modern."

Susan was in the audience during the first night of 9 to 5 as well as the final night.

"It was so emotional," Susan said.

"She does her solo and it is just breathtaking. I was just crying. I know a lot of people know I am her mum but I feel so lucky and privileged.

"She has had seven months in the West End and she has loved every single night.

"She is so excited to go on tour and she is just really grateful."

The tour, which runs simultaneously with the West End show at the Savoy, will last 11 weeks and take in 11 cities. The first is at the Alexandra, Birmingham, running between September 6 and 14. Louise Redknapp, who played Violet Newstead in the West End show, will appear in certain cities.

Caroline Sheen will play Violet Newstead in Cardiff and Brian Conley has been confirmed to play Franklin Hard in Milton Keynes.

Susan added: "The show is absolutely hilarious. It is just really fun.

"She has had a massive reaction. The amount of people coming to the stage door and have taken to Twitter. She has got quite a young following and she has made some really good friends.

"She has had so many gifts. We had great fun attempting to empty her dressing room. She takes everything in her stride in an amazing and positive way.

"The ensemble have been fantastic. Brian [Conley] is amazing and so kind and considerate. He has been brilliant as well as Louise and Natalie [McQueen].

"She has met all the new cast for the tour and they are lovely."

9 to 5 posted on Twitter: "We're bias, of course, but we're confident anyone who's seen her [Amber] at the @SavoyTheatreLdn will agree: THAT is how you smash your West End debut.

"That's how you prove any doubters wrong. That is an absolutely spellbinding performance and re-imagining of an iconic role."
