THREE square metres of open ground caught alight when a 'controlled burn' got out of control in Rhyl.
The blaze, on Rhuddlan Road, started at 6.28pm on Sunday.
One fire crew from Rhyl used one hose reel jet and a thermal image camera during the incident which was declared over by 6.56pm.
