TRIBUTES have been paid to a Caernarfon mother of three who died following a cardiac arrest at a Prestatyn holiday camp.

She has been named as Sioned Evans, aged 33, a mother of three young boys, who went into cardiac arrest at Pontins holiday camp early last Saturday morning.

North Wales Police and the ambulance service were called to the holiday camp and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A friend, Vincent Graham, has set up a GoFundMe page which has already raised almost £3,000 from more than 150 donors.

On the page he said: “On Saturday I received devastating news that Sioned had passed away unexpectedly whilst on a family break away with her family.

“Sioned was only 33years old, a loving partner to Rob and a loving mother to their three young boys. Rob and his family are absolutely heartbroken over the loss of Sioned, the love of his life and life will never be the same for him and the boys.”

Vincent explained he had started the GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses.

He added: “This is the most difficult and heart breaking time and the last thing Rob needs is all this worry on top of the heartbreak.”

Supt Nick Evans said: “We would like to extend our condolences to the lady’s family and friends.

"I can confirm that police officers did attend the chalet at Pontins earlier in the evening.

"The full circumstances of this lady’s death and the earlier visit by police officers continue to be examined, as would be expected following such a sad and untimely loss of life.

"However, at this time there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.”

The spokesperson added the death is not being treated as suspicious, however a post mortem examination will be conducted in due course.
