A PHOTOGRAPHER snapping a castle by moonlight was amazed to see two boys standing on the top of a turret and on its walls.
Ian Fairbrother, previously from Rhyl, was taking some photographs of Rhuddlan Castle on Monday, August 26 when he noticed some teenagers in the grounds after dark.

One appears to be sitting on top of the walls on his mobile phone.
Ian said: "The teenagers were on top of Rhuddlan castle. The castle grounds were shut. The pictures show the males on top of the turret in a very dangerous position, acting like idiots. One slip and that would of been it.
"I noticed them on top of the turrets and couldn’t believe just how stupid they were being.

"I thought how ridiculously dangerous it was. I was about to ring the police but they got down and disappeared."
Cadw, the historic environment service of the Welsh Government which manages Rhuddlan castle, has been approached for comment.
