THERE is just a month left for people to have their say on a major plan.

The consultation on the Conwy Borough Council Local Development Plan preferred strategy is at the halfway mark, with four weeks left for people to get involved.

The Conwy Local Development Plan must be reviewed every four years and this consultation is a key part of the review process.

The public is invited to submit their views on the LDP preferred strategy, which includes details of key places, the scale of change, sites that are key to delivering the LDP and infrastructure that’s needed, along with information on how the LDP will be implemented and delivered.

Cllr Charlie McCoubrey, Conwy’s cabinet member responsible for planning policy, said: “This is an opportunity to get involved and contribute your views to influence the future of your community.

"I urge everyone to take part.”

There are a number of ways to get involved.

People can do so online at www.conwy.gov.uk/RLDP, while copies are also available to view at Conwy's Bodlondeb and Coed Pella offices.

Copies are also available to view at the county's libraries.

People interested in getting involved need to submit their views by September 20.
