POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary in the Mold area.
Inspector Steve Owens, of the South Flintshire policing team, said a property in Heol y Wern, Gwernymynydd was broken into some time around August 15-17.
He told the Leader: "We had reports that an unknown offender smashed the rear door of the address and gained entry.
"A selective search was taken of the property and jewellery belonging to the mother and daughter has been stolen.
"A full forensic assessment has been undertaken and the inquiry is ongoing."
