NEWLY former Trearddur Bay Bulls maintained their 100 per cent start to the Gwynedd League season with an emphatic 6-1 win at Bethesda Athletic.

The visitors made an imposing start to proceedings and pulled two-clear within the opening 15 minutes thanks to a brace from Gwynfor Owen, and this was followed by a third courtesy of Justin Williams with 22 on the clock.

Things got even better for the Bulls on 34 minutes when Tom Hadley sealed another three points after just 34 minutes of play, but Athletic did manage to net a consolation for the home side after the break thanks to a well-taken effort with 55 gone.

There was still time for the away side to put the exclamation point on the game, with Williams rounding off a superb individual contribution to fire in two more late on to seal his hat-trick and complete the rout.

A standout display from Jac Jones spearheaded Talysarn Celts to a 5-3 home success over Ogwen Tigers.

The talented player was in clinical mood throughout the midweek clash, netting a treble to play a leading role in his side’s win.

Llangoed were another big winner from Thursday night’s action, with Llion Roberts (3), Wayne Thomas, Mathew Owen and an own goal giving them a convincing 6-2 home win over Glantraeth.
