A DEESIDE post office will temporarily close next week as it undergoes a 'major' makeover.
The Postmaster, who operates Aston Post Office at 21-23 Central Drive in Deeside, will shortly be undertaking an extensive refurbishment.
To allow for the refurbishment works, the branch will temporarily close from 3pm on Thursday, August 22.
During the temporarily closures, customers can access post office services from the Shotton Post Office branch or the Queensferry branch.
Mike Ball, Post Office Accounts Executive said the safety of customers is of paramount importance.
He added: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the refurbishment.
"However, I am sure that the planned improvements to the premises will, in time, compensate for any disruption caused in the short term."
It is envisaged that the work will take approximately three weeks to complete, the service is scheduled to re-open at 9am on Saturday, September 14.
