THE Rhyl branch of the Glan Clwyd Laryngectomy Club has presented equipment worth £3,000 to the hospital's ear, nose and throat department.
The club, which has members throughout Conway and Denbighshire, is a regular contributor to the hospital and presented the new equipment to hospital staff at Faenol Fawr hotel located near the hospital on Wednesday August 14.
The equipment included: nine nebulisers, five electrolarynxes, one suction machine and five boogie boards.
The club’s fund raising efforts have been assisted by a number of sponsors.
Peter Holloway, the club’s chairman said: “I like to think our supporters, who have helped to raise this sum of money, are proud of the efforts they have made to help others.”
