MOELFRE school children have been helping to save lives at sea.
The children of Ysgol Gymuned Moelfre held a sponsored non-uniform day in aid of the RNLI lifeboat station in their village.
They presented RNLI Coxswain Alan Owen and Station Mechanic Vince Jones with a 'generous donation ' towards Moelfre Lifeboat Station from the proceeds of the school event.
Several members of the station crew have close links with the school, as they were former pupils, including Alan and Vince.
Some of the children at the school also have parents or family members in the crew.
The youngsters often attend the lifeboat launch at Moelfre, due to the close relationship between the school and the Lifeboat Station.
A spokesperson for the RNLI Moelfre Lifeboat Station said "We are very grateful for the support of the pupils and staff at Ysgol Gymuned Moelfre."
