CHURCHES have raised £400 for the Alzheimer's Society.
At a recent coffee morning, churches in the Aber-Morfa Mission Area - including Margaret's Bodelwyddan; St Mary's in Rhuddlan; St Anne's in Rhyl; St Thomas's, Rhyl and St Mary's in Towyn - raised funds.
All the churches are committed to becoming Dementia Friendly in the coming months. This will enable people living with dementia to take part in services designed for them.
These services will be short. There will be no sermons and they will include well-known songs and hymns.
