KINMEL Bay’s recent opened Welsh language nursery is already doing its bit for the community.
Cylch Bae Cinmel, which opened in April, organised a litter picking session for the children aged between two and four to help learn the importance of keeping their community tidy.
To support this terms theme of ‘Y Traeth’ - the beach - the children, staff and family members attended their local beach and spent the morning litter picking on the Kinmel Bay beach near the ASDA supermarket, with the help of their parents and Cylch staff on Thursday 11 July.
Support for the event came from the environmental department at Conwy County Borough Council who supplied the group with their litter picking equipment,as well as Lisa Harrison, the community officer from the store who supplied refreshments after the event.
Cylch Bae Cinmel is open daily from 9am until 12.30pm and is now accepting applications for September.
