A KIND mum is putting all her energy into injecting positivity and happiness into people's lives.

Keeley Roberts, of Rhyl, former owner of Absolute Serenity, has set up a Facebook group called The Positivity Queen; it has already attracted 977 members.

The group, described as a healing space, aims to provide a safe, supportive and online community for people to reach out and ask for support. It is also a place to share positivity, love and have fun.

Keeley, 37, was inspired to start the group after giving up her business after her youngest daughter was diagnosed with Hirschsprung's disease; a rare bowel condition that mainly affects babies and young children.

She needed constant care and Keeley, a Reiki teacher, wellbeing therapist and qualified life coach, was only getting about one to three hours sleep and was feeling very isolated.

Keeley, who is married with three children, said: "After having an ectopic pregnancy the year before and having a very troubled pregnancy with Amara, I was depleted and lonely, even with the love and support of my family. I knew I had to draw on everything I knew and make a conscious effort to lift myself up.

"I just started the group and kept posting uplifting quotes.

"I have a good client base so I knew the support would be really good, but I never really saw it growing as quick as it did. I have members all over the world in there now, so I have definitely been amazed. I have had so many messages from people asking for advice on what crystals to carry to help with stress and anxiety."

Initially, Keeley called the group Positivity, Law Of Attraction and Manifesting with Keeley.

"Slowly, one by one, people kept calling me Miss Positive, Positive Keeley and one night I had a dream that I changed the group name to 'The Positivity Queen'. It gave me goose bumps but I was umming and arring over it because i didn’t want it to put men off joining, but I asked a few people and they all loved it.

"As soon as I changed the name the group snowballed.

"I honestly believe I have created a magical uplifting group where people feel safe to engage."

Keeley said she has suffered postnatal depression, depression and anxiety at different stages of her life.

"I’ve gone from not being able to go into a shop on my own without having a panic attack, to being able to talk in front of a whole group of people," she added.

"I still feel nervous about doing it, but I do it anyway to help myself grow, as well as helping others.

"They say a smile is infectious, I’m hoping positivity is too. I spread it around like confetti so everyone can feel it.

"I want my group to uplift and empower people who are feeling helpless. Like it did for me."

Keeley posts free meditation videos and videos talking about certain subjects like Manifesting, Law Of Attraction, Self Love, the Moon and crystals. She also hosts workshops, coaching programmes, events and Reiki/Angelic Reiki Course, which do have a fee.
