Whether it's a superb sunset shot, a perfectly proportioned picture of pupils at one of our schools winning a prize or a sports action photograph, the Standard aims to bring you the best images from Chester and across Cheshire.
So we thought it was about time we snapped to it and gave our readers the opportunity to showcase their work and become members of our Chester Standard Camera Club.
Jonathon Barnett, editor of the Chester Standard, said: "Pictures play an important role in illustrating what is going on in the Standard circulation area.
"Good quality cameras on mobile phones and tablets means everyone is capable of capturing a stunning shot that can compete with those taken through an expensive lens.
"The Chester Standard Camera Club is open to anyone with an eye for a good photo."
Those looking to become members can request to join the Chester Standard Camera Club via its Facebook group, or e-mail matt.warner@newsquest.co.uk
