AN awarding time has been enjoyed by an on-the-up football club.

Earlier this month, Corwen FC marked a memorable campaign with the club's annual end-of-season awards night.

It proved to be an excellent evening for Sam Henry, who scooped a couple of prizes.

Henry picked up the top scorer's award and he was also named as the first team players' player of the season.

The runner-up in this category was Nathan Davies, while Kyle Jones finished up in third spot.

First team boss Danny Jellicoe chose Nathan Davies as his manager's player of the season.

Oliver Crimp was named as the reserve team players' player of the season, with Tommy Davies finishing second in the poll and Cai Roberts took third position.

Tommy Davies then claimed the manager's player of the season nod for the reserve team, while the young player of the year was Ryan Roberts.

The club person of the year was Gavin Billington.

Looking ahead to the club's forthcoming Tier Two season and Corwen FC are pleased to announced that Cheval Liberte UK Ltd has agreed to sponsor the first and reserve team kits for the 2019/20 season.

The club has continued to use Macron as the kit supplier and Corwen have kept their home colours as the traditional red shirts and black shorts, with the socks coloured with red and black hoops.

The away kit is green shirts and shorts with a white trim, while the socks are coloured with green and white hoops.

The club is very pleased to link up with a local company and they are looking forward to wearing the new kits in Tier Two of the Welsh football pyramid next season.
