THE A55 has been reopened following an incident on a busy expressway in Rhuallt.
Residual delays remain as heavy traffic built up after a car that was struck by a wheel coming off a lorry heading down the opposite carriageway resulted in lane closures on the A55 North Wales Expressway heading eastbound between J28 for Rhuallt and J29 for Pant-Y-Dulath.
Officers from Traffic Wales responded to the incident shortly after 11.20am.
Alliance Chief Inspector, Inspector and one of the Sergeants on route to a meeting stopped to help out with this vehicle on the A55 at Rhuallt Hill.
