A PERSON has been taken by air ambulance to Stoke Hospital after an incident at a recycling site.
The Journal has been told that a worker was hit by a digger at the Thorncliffe site, on Rhuddlan Road in Abergele. This is unconfirmed.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at June 6 at about 11.20am to an incident at Thorncliffe recycling site, on Rhuddlan Road, Abergele.
"We responded with one emergency ambulance and one air ambulance, where one person was taken by air ambulance to Stoke Hospital, Stoke on Trent."
