Police close city centre bridge whilst dealing with an ongoing incident
A CITY centre bridge has reopened following an hour and a half long closure due to a 'police incident'.
Motorists were warned to expect delays this morning as a The Old Dee Bridge in Chester city centre bridge was closed in both directions from 6.30am until 8.05am as police officers dealt with an incident from Lower Bridge Street to Queens Park Road.
The Old Dee Bridge is currently closed in both directions whilst we deal with an incident. Please avoid the area - there is likely to be increased traffic congestion this morning. pic.twitter.com/lq3X2XDSuk
