PUPILS from a Prestatyn school presented a cheque to Marie Curie.
Children from Bodnant Community School met with Tracey MacPherson, a Marie Curie volunteer, who accepted the £410 cheque on the charity's behalf.
The school helped to raise money for Marie Curie nurses as part of the Great Daffodil Appeal.
Laura Ellis-Bartlett, community fundraiser for Marie Curie in North Wales, said: "Thank you very much to all of the staff, parents and pupils at Bodnant Community School for choosing to raise money again this year as part of the Great Daffodil Appeal.
"Your support means so much to us all here and helps the local nurses be able to support people when they need it most."
Marie Curie Nurses care for terminal ill people in their home.
This includes treating or managing pain and other symptoms with medicines, therapies and other specialist approaches.
