THERE'S not just one reason for Gwynedd rugby players to be thrilled, but three!
Girls from Ysgol y Berwyn, in Bala, reached the Urdd seven-a-side national rugby finals in Cardiff in a trio of competitions.
This is a great achievement for such a small school and Ysgol y Berwyn U-13s won the cup in their competition.
The U-15s triumphed in the Plate and the U-18s finished up as runners-up in the cup.
In addition, the U-18s 10-a-side rugby team from Ysgol y Berwyn made it through to the final during an appearance at the Principality Stadium, in Cardiff.
In that final, the Bala side was eventually beaten by a strong Gwent College team.
In further good news for Ysgol y Berwyn, the U-12s' hockey team has made it through to the Welsh Cup finals.
