A PERSON was flown to hospital following what has been described as "trauma" incident at an Anglesey race track.

A casualty was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital after being treated at the Anglesey Circuit Môn, at Ty Croes, at around 3.10pm, on Sunday.

A spokesman for the Wales Air Ambulance confirmed that the air ambulance had attended the incident.

He said: "Following treatment at the scene from our onboard consultants and critical care practitioners, we left the area ‪at 3.10pm and flew the patient to the Royal Stoke University Hospital, arriving ‪at 3.43pm."
