THREE people were arrested when police executed a warrant in Blaenau Ffestiniog under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A large quantity of Class A controlled drugs and cash were recovered on Wednesday morning.

Two men from Liverpool and a third man from the Gwynedd area were arrested and are currently being questioned in Caernarfon Custody.

District Inspector Matt Geddes said: “I would like to thank and praise members of the local community who have provided the information required for us to take this positive action today.

"Without their help it is so much harder for us to target the organised criminals who travel into our communities to exploit vulnerable individuals for their own gain.”

“We will continue to take such action to protect the communities we serve and target those who are most harmed by organised crime groups trying to operate in our area.

"I cannot stress enough the importance of community intelligence, whether that’s passed to us directly or anonymously via Crimestoppers.”

Anyone with information relating to those people in the communities who are involved in the supply of drugs should call Police on 101. Alternatively contact the web live chat http://www.north-wales.police.uk/contact/chat-support or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
