PRESTATYN's walking festival will kick off this Friday.
The Prestatyn and Clwydian Range Walking Festival 2019 features a wide range of free walks to suit all ages and abilities. The event runs across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, May 18 Howard Williams, professor of Archaeology at the University of Chester, will present a talk at Prestatyn Parish Church starting at 7pm.
Offa's Dyke and the North East Frontier of Mercia will include the latest findings and arguments in regards to ongoing work by Dr Keith Ray and himself as part of the Offa's Dyke Collaboratory featuring the Northern stretches of Offa's Dyke.

The first walk on Friday is around the rarely open Mostyn Hall garden and woodland, home to the 7th Lord Mostyn.
