DINBYCH U-11s squad finished off an impressive season by defeating Mold and drawing against Oswestry in their final matches of the year.

The team has gone from strength to strength, with 16 regular team members plus others who plan to join them more regularly next season.

The team’s ethos is the encouragement and development of all players and new members are always welcomed - girls and boys.

The coaches, parents and supporters are all very proud of the attitude and dedication shown by the team and the way they conduct themselves.

A double over Pwllheli was completed by Dinbych 2nds with a 31-21 win.

Despite playing up the slope, Pwllheli went into an early lead through two penalties.

The hosts replied from a scrum on the visitors' 22 when centre Ben Reed went over for a try, which he converted himself.

Wing Dylan Easton then extended Dinbych's lead with an unconverted try in the corner.

However, Pwllheli ended the first half with a converted try which gave them a 13-12 lead at the interval.

Dinbych went ahead again early in the second half with a try by flanker Ellis Vaughan, converted evergreen outside half Llion Edwards after good work by No 8 Shaun Jones and Ben Reed following a 15-metre scrum.

Pwllheli then regained the lead once more through an unconverted try and a penalty.

Dinbych responded and the lead went to them again with a second try by Dylan Easton after a break by Llion Edwards.

They made the game safe with a second try by Ben Reed, which he again converted.
