THE 2019 Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival drew to a close on Easter Monday after enjoying its nineteenth year over a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend at Chester Racecourse.

Guests enjoyed a variety of food, drink, and activities at the event – which ran from Saturday, April 20 to Monday, April 22 – all while being under a sizzling sun which radiated temperatures of around 23C across the city.

The 2019 Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival was the biggest event of its kind to be held anywhere in the UK over the Easter weekend, attracting thousands of guests over the three days.

More than 150 exhibitors attended the festival to showcase a huge variety of food and drink options to the people.

There were appearances from celebrity chefs, including Sunday Brunch presenter, Simon Rimmer, as well as free children’s and adult cooking classes, and barbeque masterclasses.

Guests who paid £8 for their general admission tickets were also rewarded with a £20 dining voucher that can be used at any of the Individual Restaurant Group venues throughout the UK, while VIP guests received £30 vouchers.
