GULLIVER’S World have revealed the return date of its popular family fun run.

The theme park, which is located in Old Hall, has confirmed the run will take place on Saturday, July 14.

And every entry in the event will include a free ticket for the theme park and a donation to local charities.

A spokesman for Gulliver’s said: “Take part in the Gulliver's Family Fun Run, dust off those running shoes for our fantastic event at Warrington and Milton Keynes.

“For every participant we’ll be donating one theme park ticket to a local charity, so you’ll be supporting children throughout your area.

“There’s even more great reasons to visit, on the day you could win amazing prizes for the best fancy-dress costume.”

Entrance is £9, however places are limited to 1,000 people.

Raising money for a charity of each runner’s choice is also encouraged, with sponsorship forms available to download on Gulliver’s website.

Registration for the event will take place at 9am, with organisers providing everything needed.

Warm up activities will begin at 9.30am, with the race starting between 9.45am and 9.55am in three separate waves.

The course is only one mile long, so is suited for people looking to run, walk or toddle.

All participants will receive a fun run medal at the end, with the theme park opening at 10.30am once the race is complete.

Fancy dress is encouraged, with a competition being run to judge the best and prizes on offer for the winners.
