THREE people have been captured on camera stealing the motor home of the DJ behind 90s dance anthem Set You Free.

The vehicle, a 2005 Fiat Ducato, was taken from the home of Mike Lewis - an events organiser formerly of dance act N-Trance and known professionally as DJ Kuta - in Tower Gardens, Prestatyn in the early hours of Sunday, April 7.

CCTV footage of the incident, which took place at about 2am, shows three individuals walking onto Mr Lewis property, lifting and working under the bonnet of the vehicle and pushing it down the Llys Ogwen before driving it off.

Mr Lewis, originally of Oldham, said: "I'm absolutely gutted. Just the other day I was speaking to a friend about living in North Wales and how great it is to wake up in the morning and still have your car outside.

"I was at home at the time, but I didn't see what happened until I looked at CCTV footage from a few people in the area. From the looks of it, my motor home was targeted because they've been captured coming into the estate and making straight for it."

Rhyl Journal:

The vehicle, which is a Lunar Champ A520 model has a private number plate reading K2 UTA. Other distinguishing features include car seats with green backs and blue bases, as well as a metal strip behind the driver's door on the main body work which was used in repairs.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We received a call at 2.20pm on Sunday, April 7 reporting a motor home stolen from Llys Ogwen in Prestatyn.

"Inquiries are ongoing.
