More than 200 runners set off from Llandudno Promenade on Sunday morning at the start of the Conwy Marathon.
The route takes runners around the Great Orme, takes in Conwy Castle, through Llandudno Junction and then to Colwyn Bay Promenade before doubling back along the beach front to finish back in Llandudno.
In fresh conditions, almost perfect for long-distance runners, the competitors set off at 9am with the first finishers expected back in about two and a half hours
