AN EIGHT-year-old inspired by a video on YouTube had her long locks cut off for charity.
Frankie May Williams, a pupil at Ysgol Bryn Collen in Llangollen, came across a video about a little girl who had cancer and was going to lose her hair.
It struck a chord with Frankie and she decided to start growing her hair to donate.

The youngster has raised about £380 and is donating to The little Princess Trust, which provide real hair wigs to children and young people with hair loss.
Rhian Davies, who has partner Jamie Williams, said: "Frankie loves her new look and she wanted her hair even shorter but I think that was because it would mean she didn’t have to brush it.
"Frankie is donating to The little Princess Trust.

"We set up a JustGiving page in Frankie's name which we shared on Facebook. It raised £185 and Frankie had cash donations from her friends, family and school teachers of £195.
"We raised a total of £380 all together. This in itself is enough money to supply a wig for a child that needs it."
Frankie, who lives in Llangollen, has a younger brother called Jack, aged four.
Frankie's godmother Jessica Richards carried out the hair cut.
Rhian added: "She is such a caring thoughtful young lady."
Denise Williams, Frankie's grandmother, said: "Frankie is a very kind and loveable granddaughter we are very proud of her."
