ENJOY a fashionable social event at a historic site this mother's day.
Gwrych Castle, which overlooks Abergele, is hosting a cream tea. Guests will also get a chance to explore the most recently restored part of the site.
A spokesperson from Gwrych Castle said: "Since the 1800's when Anna, Duchess of Bedford would soon become hungry, afternoon tea became a fashionable social event. During the 1800's, aristocratic woman would change into long gowns, gloves and hats for their afternoon tea and it became a great social event.
"The Chapel at Gwrych Castle played host to such events during the time of the Countess of Dundonald. This is a chance to relive such an occasion."
There will be an Easter Dragon Egg Hunt running between April 19 and April 22.
During the hunt, visitors can enjoying running through muddy woodlands, around the mystical Gwrych Castle and along nature trails.
The Easter event will run from 11am to 5pm each day - £2 per child
Last admission at 4pm.

All funds raised go to Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust and the continued restoration of the castle.
