PRESTATYN's carnival royalty for 2019 has been chosen.
Prestatyn Carnival Association held their selection afternoon at the King's Hall Community Centre. Judges included cllr Anton Sampson, mayor of Prestatyn, former Miss Prestatyn Chloe Hopkins and Dawn Jones, who represented the Carnival Association Officers' committee.
The 2019 Royal Family were elected as follows: Carnival Queen Elect, Lucy Phillips; Carnival Princess Elect, Evie Morris; Carnival Prince Elect Charlie Dodd; Carnival Rosebud Elect Aaradhya Goel; Queen's Court Jacob Roberts, Seren Mai Thomas, Poppy Alice Firth, Anastaasia Beretchi, Tilly Jo Purnell, Emily Phillips and Elin Rose Dodd.
Joy Williams, Carnival Association Chair, said: "The children are now looking forward to their Coronation on Sunday, June 30."
Prestatyn Carnival Day will be held on Saturday, July 20.
