RESIDENTS of a small village near Prestatyn have been jumping for joy after scooping thousands of pounds.
After their postcode, LL19 9UH, was announced as the winner of People’s Postcode Lottery’s Daily Prize, five Gronant neighbours received a windfall on Wednesday, February 13.
The villagers have each won £1,000 for every ticket they play with thanks to the win.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: “What a great day for our winners in Prestatyn! I hope they enjoy spending their prize money and treating themselves to something nice.”
A minimum of 32 percent of ticket sales for the Lottery goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised £393 million to date for 5,500 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
