A PLASTERER accused of smashing seven windows and two TVs at his ex-girlfriend’s Prestatyn home has been ordered to pay £1,281 compensation.
Gary Scott Faulkner, of Meredith Crescent, Rhyl, admitted criminal damage and he must also pay £85 costs.
A 12-month restraining order was imposed by magistrates at Llandudno.
Court chairman Darren Campbell told Faulkner, 30, that the case “doesn’t paint a great picture of you”.
He said: "We have heard about fighting in the street, about occupants of the house being in fear.”
Andrew Hutchinson, defending, said Faulkner had appeared before Caernarfon Crown Court on Thursday for assault causing actual bodily harm on a man.
He had received a suspended jail term with unpaid work and a building better relationships programme.
Mr Hutchinson said a party had taken place at the former partner’s home in November and two men were there.
Faulkner, who had been drinking, turned up and caused the damage.
