A thief who admitted trying to steal three battery chargers from a Rhyl store, hours after being fined by a court, has been jailed for 12 weeks.
Deputy district judge David Murray told 29-year-old Simon Ferguson at Llandudno court: "You have a poor record in relation to offences of dishonesty.”
Ferguson, of Bodfor Street, Rhyl, on benefit, also pleaded guilty to theft at Iceland and a One Stop shop this month.
Defence solicitor Nia Dawson said there were mental health and other physical problems.
