A WOMEN has been hospitalised following a suspected hit and run in Kinmel Bay.
Two women were struck on Foryd Road by a red Vauxhall Astra that "failed to stop" at about 10am on Monday morning.
Following the incident, one of the women required medical assistance treatment at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We were called to a road traffic collision on Foryd Road, Kinmel Bay on Monday, January 28 at 10.03am.
"Two women were hit by a Red Vauxhall Astra driven by a woman who failed to stop.
"A woman has received hospital treatment for minor injuries."
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at approximately 10.05am to a road traffic collision on Foryd Road, Kinmel Bay, Rhyl.
"We responded with a rapid response vehicle and an emergency ambulance. One patient has been conveyed to Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan."
