RHUDDLAN wheelchair users have been given a gift to start 2019.
The Rhuddlan Community Group have installed a wheelchair friendly picnic table in the Vicarage Lane library nature garden and picnic area.
The table was purchased from Meifod of Denbigh, a Denbighshire County Council business supported by the Learning Disability Service.
A spokesperson for the group said: "We start off the year with good news, our final objective for 2018 was achieved the week before Christmas, with the delivery and installation of the wheelchair friendly table beside the disabled parking space the group campaigned for at the Vicarage Lane library.
"We would like to thank Reg and his grandson Aled for their help in positioning and securing it on site. The group would also like to thank the dog walkers and passers-by who regularly keep an eye on the area and collect any litter and replace any plants that have been taken out by anti-social behaviour."
