A MAN has been assaulted by two youths in Rhyl.

The incident happened on Monday, December 3 at about 4.30pm while the man was walking the area of Westbourne Avenue and Marsh Road.

Police have launched an appeal to anyone with any information on the incident which involved two teenage boys.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We are asking people to cast their minds back to the beginning of December, after a man was assaulted by two youths in Rhyl.

PC 533 Kevin Casey said: “The victim states that he was followed by two youths who assaulted him on the railway bridge between Westbourne Ave and Marsh Road. He mentioned there was a man with a child who witnessed the incident and may know who the suspects are.”

“I am keen to speak to this man or anyone else who may be able to assist with our enquiries.”
