THE year 2018 has been a year of huge challenges politically with the ongoing uncertainty of Brexit looming over every aspect of society.
Our ongoing efforts to secure a better deal for North Wales as well as the challenges facing our health services have also been a key focus of my work over the past 12 months.
The year 2019 will no doubt throw up new challenges.
Some will be predictable and others less so.
Despite the uncertainties we face, the festive season is also a time to reflect on the enduring strength of our community spirit and the way in which people rally round to help one another.
I’d like to thank everyone I’ve worked with over the past year and look forward to continuing to work on behalf of the people of North Wales.
I wish you all a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
