RHYL Football Club girls have been busy doing their bit to help the homeless this Christmas.
Members of the Under 12 and Under 14's sides decided to do something unique to help make a difference in the build up to December 25.
The girls' 'Homeless Mission' idea saw them join their parents and coaches on a walk around Rhyl Town Centre on Sunday evening to hand out gifts and hot drinks to those less fortunate than themselves.
The evening was rounded off with a visit to the Dewi Sant homeless shelter on Clwyd Street.
Rhyl Girls head coach, John Watkiss, praised the youngsters for their efforts.
"The girls were brilliant and they conducted themselves in the right manner throughout the evening," he said.
"They were very good when meeting people on the street as well, and were very sympathetic and spoke well to them.
"The people who run the Centre were so happy to receive the gifts. The girls were a real credit to the Club and the town giving up their time at this busy time of the year for the benefit of others."
