Again I have the honour, as mayor of St Asaph, to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
Although it is a time for celebration and to meet with family and friends, it is important that we spend some time to remember those who are less fortunate and who are feeling a sense of sadness or loneliness. This time of year can be particularly depressing
for those who are alone.
We must also remember those who are working over the Christmas period in our hospitals, emergency services or in the armed forces.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my personal thanks to local residents and neighbouring communities who have recently showed their combined support over recent proposed controversial plans.
Finally,I must again give special thanks to members of the City Council who have continued to give me overwhelming support during my term in office.
Nadoleg Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda.
Cllr Colin Hardie
Mayor of St Asaph
